This beautiful Grade II Listed thatched cobb home suffered a significant collapse to one end, following a severe storm last year.

Appointed in the summer, we supported our client through the planning and building control processes, securing the necessary permissions to carry out the repair and reinstatement works.

We revisited the site this week and were delighted to see the project progressing well — despite the persistent rain and renewed flooding in the village. It’s fantastic to see such care and craftsmanship on display, with exceptional detailing by the thatchers, skilled stone masons, and lime plastering specialists.
