We’re delighted to share that Dorset Council approved the application for new windows and kitchen extract unit, allowing Lucy’s Blandford to relocate within Tabernacle Walk in Blandford Forum. Lucy’s Blandford is a local business, established in Unit 8 Tabernacle Walk in 2017. It is a family run business, offering brunch, tea, coffee, homemade cakes, with seating inside & outside and a takeaway service available. It has successfully grown and established itself as a primary location for many locals and visitors to Blandford. As part of its growth it wishes to move across Tabernacle Walk  into units 2 and 3, which will give a bigger space from which to operate. 

Despite it being a relatively simple proposal, it still required a planning application, and that in itself wasn’t without it’s difficulties and delays through the LPA requiring bat surveys, and the Environmental & Conservation Officers raising some concerns that required swift and suitable responses. Nonetheless, at MDS Ltd, we’re committed to delivering professional, high-quality results without ever compromising on integrity or value for money – and are delighted we managed to obtain the approval for Lucy, and wish her continuing success.
