Since the last update back in January we have been very fortunate to be EXTREMELY busy on many varied and interesting projects. We obtained planning permission for the new Lifeboat Station in Portishead back in May, which was FANTASTIC news for all concerned, and followed 2 years of hard work by ourselves and the Design Team. Now the RNLI have appointed us to progress with the detailed design with a view to starting on site in September 2013! Watch this space. Our other RNLI project in the Republic of Ireland at Baltimore is rapidly nearing completion with Handover due in mid July. Watch the website for photos! Last month we obtained planning permission for 5 cottages on a corner plot in Lychett Matravers, again after almost 12 months negotiation with the Local Planning Authority. This will be a fabulous development totally uplifting the character of the area. We are commencing working drawings and again this one will start on site later this year. Other planning applications have been submitted in the last couple of months for new houses on land in and around Lychett Matravers. Other projects currently on-going are; New Reception facilities to Moyles Court School in Ringwood, New Ground Keepers Store Facility in Shaftesbury, Affordable Housing Scheme in Basingstoke, New Boiler House to Moyles Court School in Ringwood, House extension in Verwood, Clerk of Works role for Sheltered Housing Scheme in Portsmouth, Feasibility Studies on land in and around Dorset and another RNLI project on their lifeboat station in Swanage!
We have also moved! Only a few miles down the road from where we were, but we are now more central to Blandford Town Centre. with easier access to all the local towns and cities, and major routes beyond. Lets hope that the healthy workload continues, and that we all get the summer sunshine for at least more than one week!
