Throwback Thursday

10 years ago, we obtained planning permission for the demolition of a pair of bungalows, in Lytchett Matravers, and redevelopment with 5 new 3 bedroom cottages. One being an unusual round thatched building that formed this corner plot. The concept, feasibility, design, planning and building regulation process took the best part of 18 months, but our carefully considered design, professional yet friendly approach, and help from our tree, ecology and planning colleagues, meant we were able to present our client with an approval for this scheme and get them on site as swiftly as possible. The building works were completed around 12 months later. Another happy developer and more family homes provided. From dreams to reality.

Throwback Thursday

9 years ago, we received planning permission for the demolition of a detached run down bungalow, in Upton, and the redevelopment with 3 new detached 3 bedroom cottages. One being a thatched finish. The concept, feasibility, design, planning and building regulation process took the best part of 12 months, but our carefully considered design, professional yet friendly approach, and help from our tree, ecology and planning colleagues, meant we were able to present our client with an approval for this scheme and get them on site as swiftly as possible. The building works were completed around 12 months later. Another happy developer and more family homes provided. From dreams to reality.

Small jobs count too!

Friday, May 21st, 2021

Working with Blandford Town Council and the Conservation Officer, we were pleased to have completed the project at the Town Hall Corn Exchange Building to replace a tired, broken and damaged roof lantern, with a new bespoke, double glazed Heritage Style roof light. Even small projects still need time and effort to get them over the line and complete to plan, time and budget. Its all in the detail.
